Im going on holiday to Kos?

whats the currency like for buying things? is it cheap to buy food and easy because we may go self catering

what are the people like? are taxis expensive? are nughtclubs expensive?

  1. Kos is part of Greece so the currency is the EURO.

    The exchange rate against the £ is poor at present, about 1.26 to the £ . It's easy to buy food locally but not that cheap.

    The people are fine, no problem unless you do something really dumb. Taxis are not cheap so agree a fee with the driver before the set off, not all taxis have meters.

    Nightclubs are very variable. New ones spring up each year but generally better value than those in the UK.
