  1. It's great that your concerned about her.  But we mums manage to survive for a few days with out you.  Let her know that you'll miss her and I'm sure she'll say the same to you.  But I doubt very much that she'll want you to be miserable through out your holiday.  Go and enjoy yourself.  You dads important to you too.

  2. Hi Becky.  Your mum loves you and she wouldn't want you to be deprived of a holiday because she can't go.  While you are away, send her a text, phone her, send her a postcard and buy her a nice little gift. Have a good holiday and don't worry about a thing

  3. Dear, this is natural.  When parent split up, this is no choice.   You will have to take care of you mum and encourage her to have more friends and hopefully she can start on a new relationship and won't be so lonely.

  4. Don't worry about your mom, she is an adult.  Plus, she will be happy that you are spending time with your dad.  Kids need to be around BOTH the mother and the father.  Your dad has a girlfriend, you mom will be lucky if she finds someone to love her too.  Go, don't worry.  Even if she makes a wrong dating decision, she will have to correct and fix, just like anyone else.  Including me and you.

  5. hey she might love the week from you, it might be a holiday for her too.

  6. your mum will be pleased to have a break. she will enjoy the peace and quiet, be able to do what she wants to do for a change. she will miss you too, but believe me, she wont be that upset. go on hols and have a good time.

  7. your mom will miss you but will more than likely be looking forward to the break and being able to go out with friends and have fun without worrying about you and your brother, so go away and have a great time and stop worrying!

  8. Oh... how I hate when this is happening. Happened exactly the same with me, when I was 13, 14.

I remember me feeling terrible, I called my mum every day, I made her tons of pictures, I wrote her letters, real letters on paper, not cold e-mails. I tried to do anything to be by her, even I was far away.

I really feel for you, I know what are you feeling, and I hope my advice will help - be in permanent contact with her, that helped my mum.

  9. I should think your Mum will be happy for you go and enjoy yourself but try to give her a phone call to let her know you are thinking of her

  10. Your mum will miss you, but i'm sure she'll also be glad of having a short break from you and your brother and she'll have time to pamper herself, watch whatever she wants on tv, etc.

Why not phone her a couple of the days when you're away?

  11. go and enjoy yourself your mum will enjoy some time to herself, she is not going to sit sulking all the time you are away

  12. your mum will miss you but she will be fine, she might go on to dating sites but she knows what are the risks of meeting up with some one, do you have any of your mums friends numbers, would you ring your mums friends and see if one of them can pop round to see her when you are away, you should go away and be happy, your mother would want you to go and enjoy yourself, it is really nice that you care so much about your mum, today or tonight why not do some thing nice with your mum, maybe watch a movie and get some pizza or ask her can you do her nails, spend a little time with her befor you go, your mum will be fine, enjoy your time away and ring your mum every day, good luck
