  1. ummm...u shd go for a bar-b-q with a paratha and salad and mint yoghurt....ENJOY!!

  2. Indian food is extra spicy, so choose wisely. Anything with curry is really hot, so you may want to steer clear of that, unless you like spicy food.

  3. Lucky you!

If I were in your shoes i think tonight i would have prawn puree for starter (a mini prawn curry in an indian pancake) and chicken vindaloo with mushroom rice and peshwari naan

  4. Well you have already been, all I have is meatloaf sandwich.

Could go a vindaloo right now......sigh

    Kia ora from NZ.

  5. chicken tiki masala is very good

    curry chicken

  6. Well, i am very experienced when it comes to indian cuisine. here are my faves:

    puri

curried anything (like chicken, duck, goat, potato)

oh, they will call potatoes ''aloo''

    Bhagi, or spinach ;)

    here are some guidelines:

if the curry is too hot, drink something milk based to cool it down the best

korma means the chile amount is mild

madras is medium hot and vindaloo is VERY hot

most indian people don't eat beef so don't attempt to order a steak

    try paratha!!!

  7. guess this was last night...try chicken tikka masala, chicken boti kabob, goat/lamb karahi, bengan bharta, saag paneer, raita and roti. delicious!

  8. yummmm!

I like chicken curry, jasmine rice and nan bread

  9. Well... it depends  upon your personal taste.

If the restaurant has a buffet, I'd recommend the buffet so you can try a wide range of dishes.  Although buffets may not represent the best of the best dishes, a buffet offers a wide selection.

For mild dishes, I'd recommend Tandoori (meat), such as, Tandoori chicken.

For spicier dishes, curries are good.

Overall, if you have an adventurous palate, you'll like your meal no matter what you order... unless the restaurant is c**p to start out with.

  10. depends what u like...

if u like rice then I'd reccommend some sort of 'biryani'......... my personal favourite is 'chicken biryani'

if you like naan bread and breads like that then go for somethin like naan bread with a curry.... they'll have loads of curries for you to choose from.... chicken, beef, potato..... they should have loads anyway!

i love naan bread.... so that with a curry would be my preference after the rice!
