  1. just relax-it will be fine! it's really fun! don't worry about it. and sure, it is scary at first, but you will get used to it within five minutes. don't worry. have fun!

  2. Just relax believe in your self:D

  3. Just make sure you have a certified instructer around you at all times. I heard it is really cool!  Have Fun!

  4. i was scared my first time but it turned out as soon as i got in the water i was fine  im sure you will be too.

  5. Your nervousness is understandable. It's a new experience for you and you aren't exactly sure what to expect. Your instructor and divemasters are used to calming the fears of first time divers. They teach people from 8 to 80 to dive all the time and can handle any emergencys that arrise. Your pool work will build your confidence in your skills, and your instructor will not take you into the Open Water unless he/she is confident in your ability to perform the skills also. If you are using a larger dive shop for your certification you may even have a few divemasters swimming around to help you out. These guys are excellent divers working their way to being instructors themselves. Their purpose is to watch and assist anywhere they are needed. One thing my primary instructor always says is "If a 10 year old can do it and pass then you can to."  You are in for the experience of a lifetime, but a little warning you may get addicted to it and move to the beach and turn into a dive bum. Have Fun!!

  6. Don't know if this'll calm you down (If not, some good breathing exercises always seem to work!) but I was terrified before my first time scuba diving, but I promise it's amazing fun! The experience is so exhilirating, try and make the most out of it while you're there! Get someone to stick with you so you're sure that you're in safe hands and that way there's no worries! If you're still nervous, come up with a signal to signal to someone nearby that you're nervous and you need to go up. But honestly it is an amazing experience and I think you'll really enjoy it once you're swimming!

  7. It's the opportunity of a lifetime. let us know how it went.

  8. Shouldn't you have suitable training first?

  9. Dont be nervous , remember you have air to breath on your back ,it will feel strange but you can breath. I  have been diiving most of my life.

If your a beginner I highly recommend pool training with a qualified instructer first.

Be carefull and dont try any real deep diving on your first time out.And always stay calm,do not panic and rise fast.,that can case air ambolism

and you will need a decompression chamber real fast.

Remember not too deep the first time till you get used to it.Good Luck and enjoy the undersea it is beautiful down there.

  10. relax
