Im going to Alicante?

hey!

im going to Alicante with four friends this summer, we are staying at my friends house that her parents own,

it will be my friends 17th out there and i was wondering if they were strict about there laws for drinking? in supermarkets and bars?

also what is there thats fun to do during the day in and around alicante?

The legal age to drink and purchase alcohol in Spain is 18.  However, you may be able to enter bars and buy drinks and  buy alcohol from the supermarket.  If you get refused by one place, try at another.

During the day I would go shopping or go to the beach.  You could take a day trip by ferry to Tabarca Island.  Here is a link for tourism info:
