  1. yes it is ok!

you just got to know the places where not to go.. like the north or the south..

there are alot of places you can go... if you just search lebanon online you'll find alot of sites that you could see ... mostly the most famous Cedars.. and more too...

and plus there's the nightlife that you would surely enjoy! mono and all the clubs and pubs... and DT of course! and simply the touristic places..

  4. So far so good.. No experience can interfere in this question.. I live here and I cannot explain to you that we have no fear or no worries..

In September peace will be within the souls, it will be the month of Ramadan, the fasting and all the religious rituals, I guess no bad intentions then...

  5. man beirut is safe 50000%

there are this summer 3 millions of tourists only in Beirut

    trust me :)

  6. There were many people that went for vacation during the most intense times and they said they didn't even notice it till they received calls from relatives. (I mean recently, not too long ago)

I don't think it is a huge problem now, in fact I don't think you'll see anything or face anything..

Oh, and about places to visit, I suggest you start at the Corniche :) ,

    Good luck

  7. I've been there twice when our travel advisories warned against it .... most recently in March / April of this year . There were no problems & you will find that you will be well received.

Must sees are Jeita Grotto, Byblos , Souk St Michael , Rauche & the national museum..

    Enjoy !
