Im going to Cozumel, Mexico in July and I was wondering if anybody has been out there???

can anybody tell me what its like and any romantic things to do with my boyfriend while Im out there??

Rent a jeep or scooters, it's fun going around the island and seeing all the city life on the coast that faces Mexico vs. the ocean that seems to go on forever on the other side of the island. Just remember your sunscreen if you go on the scooters, the sunburn'll sneak up on you. Playa del Carmen is also a great place to go to, just a ferry ride away from Cozumel.

Cozumel is a wonderful place to go...I would suggest renting a jeep or paying a cab to take you to the "wild" side of the island...there is a neat lighthouse there and a private beach.  Most of the beaches on this side of the island are nice to hang out on, but not very good for swimming (current is very strong), but there are tons of beautiful spots for pictures...I would also stop at Coconuts for lunch and a drink.  

At night, it's very romantic to stroll along the malecon in town and just enjoy the ocean and sounds from the town.  Lots of good restuarants too...I would suggest Guido's for a romantic dinner.  

Also, Chichen Itza and Tulum are not on Cozumel, you would have to take the ferry across and travel to see either of these ruins.

Visit any of the ruins, particularly Chichen Itza, they are amazing!!!!  

My family and I did not like Tulum ruins very much (small area and you could not touch anything.)  But when you get to the top, the view is breathtaking.
