Im going to Hawaii and was wondering what a good cam corder would be??

Thats not a horrible cam, but come on. Why not buy a great camcorder and use it for all occasions for years. The best of the best for home use are the Sony HDNA cams. They have 10 megapixels!!! And smart face tracking software. You would be wise to get one of those!

Buy the camcorder that's right for you based upon how often you will use the camera, what your budget is, and also the features that you require.

One of the best for a reasonal price is the Panasonic Model PV-GS320.    It is a 3CCD recorder that is sufficient for not only personal video viewing but can be used for professional productions also.  The price range is in the $375 to $450 depending on where you purchase it.  I purchased mine at Best Buy in California.

I am currently  living in Maui, Hawaii producing a TV show.  I use the Panasonic along with my professional Sony.
