  1. make sure you bring both ur sunglasses and umbrella! its very unpredictable :o)

  2. Well i am not sure where you are from but its likely to be quite warm in Ireland in the Summer but i would be prepared for lots of rain as well.

There's lots of nice food and drink but it is expensive around the capital (more expensive than london)

Bring walking shoes as there's so much beautiful countryside to see too.

I am sure you will have a lovely time.

  3. Prepare yourself for some very unpredictable weather. June can be quite warm and dry but some years it rains for most of the month ; although in recent years it has eased off somewhat. It rarely gets above 30 degrees centigrade in summer and that is only on a few sparse weeks throughout the year. You're probably looking at an average of 20 - 25, with generally dry conditions. But bring an umbrella or light waterproof jacket. The evenings are cooler and you will probably need a jacket at night. It always rains more in the west and north of the country too.

  4. You won't go too far wrong if you pack an umbrella and waterproof rain-jacket/coat.

You will be able to use most Credit Cards in ATM's here and bring plenty of dollars (though not in cash - Travellers chqs are widely acceptable).

  5. You should bring an adaptor for electricial appliances such as a hairdryer.  Ireland has the same type of sockets as the UK.

  6. Groid is wrong on the outlets.  They have the same power, but the outlets are different.  I think you can get a UK plug to work, but it will take some work on your part.

If your used to warm climate you'll be chilly in Ireland.  It's warm by their standards and can get up to mid to upper 80's, but your more likely to find mid 70's.  Which is fine when it's not rainy or windy.  So pack for early spring with a light jacket.
