  1. We stayed in some very nice B&B's while in Ireland.  Check out some  websites.  We used Discover Ireland.  I don't know if they are still around, but we had great luck!!  The breakfast that is included with your stay is definately worth it!!

  2. Hotels, hostels, serviced apartments - they can all vary.

If you look through this directory you can find hotels sometimes cheaper than hostels - there is a sort filter on the location., price , star rating and names.

The cost is not the only consideration though. It's good to pay attention to the location ( to save time and transport costs ), dig deep into the offers to see if breakfast and amenities are included which you would otherwise buy.

Here's a list of major accommodation places in Ireland and a link to the National Tourism website.

    Good Luck

  3. don't stay in a hostle. It sounds well, hostle. Now hotels or bed and breakfasts all depend on the place.

  4. I would think a hostel....When I was in Austria with a school group we stayed in a youth hostel... it was pretty nice and definately cheap.

  5. Hostels may be cheaper but they may have restrictions like lock-out hours, or be less safe.  I prefer B&Bs in Ireland -- you get a huge breakfast to get you through most of the day.  You can pay through the nose for a B&B if you choose to, but some of them are quite affordable.  The only hostels I'd even consider would be independent ones that are not part of the international hostel organisation since those cater too much to young, noisy people and the conditions inside can vary greatly.

  6. You could find a hottell just as cheep as a hostile
