  1. Jersey is great.  So is your hotel.  One point to note.  As you're staying in the main town, St Helier, be aware that the roads back to there get very busy as people return to their hotels for evening meals.  That's why I don't stay in the capital now.

  2. Yeah, i just got back, its my second time of visiting. It was lovely as the skys were blue, the sun was out, like being in the med but not quite so hot, and the coastal scenery beats any other european beaches. You can find all you need on any tourist website, so not much point repeating it all on here. General advice, you will need to hire a car to go and see things so take driving license, its the same price as uk, although seafood is cheaper and recommended. You can bring duty free cigs back £18 pound for 200 on plane there and back (i was told i could bring back 400- no one asked). Dont expect too much in the way of night life as you would other euro holidays, but st helier is  pretty place, and the whole island is like england probably was before waves of immigrants and chavs descended on us (sorry but had to say it)

  3. Just stay away from the childrens homes and you will be ok

  4. I have stayed at the Revere and I found it to be a lovely hotel. Yes there is a maze called the "amazin maize". It is a large maze completely made out of maize (if you didn't click on from the name!). It's a great place to go the whole family. Have a look at the website below, it should give you all the info you need like opening times and prices etc.

Which castle are you going to? There is Elizabeth Castle which is a few miles out to sea and Mont Orgueil Castle which is situated in Gorey village. Both are brilliant attractions.

There is a fun fair which has just opened in "Peoples Park" which is literally a couple of minutes from the Revere, once again, another great place to visit with the family.

I live in Jersey, so if you need any more info give me an email.
