  1. I had trouble finding china town when I was last in manchester as the Chinese Arch was covered by scaffolding and I could only seem to find a short road of restaurants etc!

Sorry, prob not much help but thought I'd let you know before you get there!

    Hope you enjoy it.

  2. I like the wong chu,its got cooked ducks and belly pork in the window.

Yang Sing is very good,Woo Sang also

If you fancy a choice of Chinese or Thai,Pacific  is excellent

Out of Chinatown, the Glamorous Restaurant above the Wing Yip supermarket in the Northern Quarter is good too

  3. There really isn't a lot of difference in price between the restaurants. The Yang Sing previously mentioned is good but, the staff can be quite rude because It's well known and they think they are doing you a favour. Go past any and take your pick.

  4. TRY The Yang Sing.

It's the most famous one - very high quality food and you won't get food poisoning there.

ALSO TRY The international buffet on the corner it has a great choice of food both western and Chinese, very cheap about £10 a head eat all you want, may be not suitable for snobs as it is self service.
