  1. It's not much different than elementary school.

Basically, all the same people are there.  Nobody seems that much older -- sometimes you can't even tell who's a seventh grader and who's an eighth grader.

The older kids usually stick to their own.  You'll meet new people in classes, but I think you'll notice pretty quickly that all the kids from the other elementary schools stick together.  It'll be that way for your old elementary school, too.

Classes are harder, but it's only because now there's a whole period to focus on a particular subject.  The teachers usually go pretty easy on the seventh graders.  (Or does your middle school start with sixth grade?  If so, no big deal, it'll be even easier that way.)

PE and locker rooms are absolutely chill.  Just make sure you have a cute bra and cute panties (like, nothing too revealing or too lace-y, because people will think you're weird).  Try shopping for some cute, funky panties at Aerie (American Eagle) or Aeropostale.

Also, if you're embarrassed about changing in front of people, the locker rooms usually have adjoining bathrooms, and you can change in there.  (My old PE teacher used to get mad if you went in there to change, but it's not like they can PROVE you weren't using the toilet, too.)

So, yeah ... good luck!  And congrats!

P.S.  About the Jonas Brothers and what-not:  You can do absolutely whatever you want when it comes to decorating your locker.  I wouldn't put Camp Rock or Jonas Brothers stuff on my backpack, or wear t-shirts for the band or whatever, but you can tape pictures of them up in your locker and maybe put some pictures of them in a collage of your favorite things on your binder, and no one will even notice, probably.
