Im going to New Zealand and Australia for a month........?

ok im going to New Zealand for 2 weeks and Australia for another 2

can i have any help with some places to go while im there?

You should definatley go to the Sydney Opera House and try to visit the interior part too... most ppl only go the Eastern coast and they miss out on visiting the Aboriginal sites such as the Olgas and Uluru. :)

Well, I guess it depends what kind of person you are and what youre interested in. Im from Aus, so I can suggest some things but as for NZ... I have no idea!

Firstly, depends where you flight goes to and what time of year youll be coming. If your flying to Sydney (which I think most people do) then you should deifnately see:

-the Opera House

-the three sisters in the blue mountains (its really cool, plus gives you an idea of aussy landscape)

-you could to a harbour cruise, go to Taronga zoo (yay!)

-do the sydney harbour bridge climb (i hear its pretty awesome)

-you should definately go to bondi beach (its pretty well a sydney icon haha)

Its kind of hard to suggest things to do coz I dont know where your going. Are you going to go up the coast or out west?

Anyway, Ill suggest a few places I think are worth a visit:

-Byron Bay (a tourist hot sport, theres backpackers EVERYWHERE here, plus it offers lots to do from kayaking with dolphins, surfing, hot air ballooning, the worlds highest free fall! its a beautiful place)

-head up north to the NT (northern territory). go check out some aboriginal towns like alice springs and darwin. while your in the NT you should definately go to Uluru (Ayers Rock)... you cant climb on it anymore but its got platforms all around... and it s apretty amazing site.

-go up to QLD and check out the Gold Coast... its a tourist hot spot also. Theres 4 theme parks up there, as well as lots of other touristy things to do, like the wax museum, ripleys believe it or not... and if you do head there than Cavill Ave in Surfers Paradise is a must.

-Head up to the great barrier of reef further up the coast... its a beautiful place. you can go out snorklling, diving etc... (& its cool coz you can see it from space haha)

-if youre a die hard shopper (or want to shop haha) then you definately need to go to Melbourne. its been labelled as Australias best capital city for shopping! Theres also tonnes of old style victorian architechture which makes melbourne a really beautiful place.
