When I booked through the Travel Agents, the temperature guides on all brochures say that the weather is same throughout the Dominican. Its only now that I have searched the Internet I have found out that the North has the opposite rainy season to the South. I am worried that its going to rain the whole time I am there!!

  1. End of March in Puerto Plata = Dry, only 5% of rain.

  2. i was in the south Dominican Republic   march 2006 for a week and it rained everyday but two.   but once it stopped raining, the sun was out and still hot and everything, if you have frizzy hair, its going to be frizzy the whole time you are there.

HAVE FUN!  i wish i was going! that was the best week of my life!

  3. I have gone to Punta Cana for the past 2 yrs during the "rainy season".  We stayed for a week both times.  I don't think it rained at all.  I know Punta Cana is not exactly north but I bet you'll be dry & have a blast.

  4. You are going in the rainy season, but it will still be hot!

  5. Don't be concerned   You will get some liquid sunshine but chances are the weather should be good, hot and sunny. Check the site below it will give you the weather in past years.
