Im going to Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos. How much $ should i bring for 7 days? Where should I visit?

I'm wondering if Riu Santa Fe is a good resort to go to as well. Should I bring cash with me or just VISA? Also, I heard downtown if close to the resort and there are nightclubs there to go to..does anyone recommend any places? Will I be taking a taxi or bus to downtown?

Cabo is rather expensive, and you will save money by using cash.  If you must use your visa, use it only at larger, established restaurants and keep your receipts.  If you use it as a debit card, only use the ATM's that allow you to slide your card- Mexico ATM's are notorious for mistakenly taking cards in error.  

Remember, taking a taxi is your only option after the buses stop and most shuttles don't run late.  A taxi can charge you a small fortune (I've heard stories of up to $100- but typically $40ish to $70ish depending on location.)  

When you get to downtown, no need for recommendations for clubs- you'll just know.  ;)
