  1. You need to travel countryside if you really want culture.  Cities of any country are mixed cultures of people all over the world, maybe Barca will be slightly more Spanish, but still mixed.  Find a route through which you can traverse the country-side, and THEN you will get culture.

  2. Madrid - For a city of its size, Madrid boasts an exceptional number of world - class museums and galleries. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/madrid.... for more details.

  3. Córdoba is AMAZING! It's in southern Spain and is very different from the rest of it in my opinion. It has a lot of Arabic influence. If you go, you MUST check out La Mesquita, a gorgeous mosque. They're also known for their silver jewelry and there are lots of little shops to check out.

  4. i'm spanish and u should go to the South of Spain too...u should visit places like Toledo,Mérida,Valencia,Madrid,Sevilla,Gr... San Sebastián..................i could continue, but i think it's enough lol

If you need any information, feel free to ask me,ok?

    Enjoy your trip

  5. Try to visit Alhambra and Valencia. Alhambra for history and Valencia for modernicity.

  6. I went to Barcelona, Granada, and Sevilla when I was in Spain.  All those cities are different and seem to be somewhat different culturally. Barcelona seemed very metropolitan. Grananda had a smaller town feel and a definite moorish feeling.  Sevilla had a decent mix of ages, cultures, and spanish/mooris influence.  I also heard Malaga is a good coastal town.  Depending on your travel plans, if you can get to Lisbon, that would be different too.
