You may ask your cosmetic dentist if he/she can show you couple of models of how your teeth look like at present and will look like after veneers. If you are satisfied with the new shape of your teeth go ahead with the procedure after the quoted fee is acceptable. Also, if you can afford, ask for porcelain veneers in biocompatible material, of which the may be under $400 per tooth.

The colors and shades of the veneers, price, how long will it last, the length of the procedure, special precautions, special diet if needed, and after care of the veneers. Cleaning of the veneers and how often are the checkups and what are the first signs that something is gone wrong...ie what to look for.
