  1. Do a pineapple upside down cake. EZ!

1 box cake mix - prepare as directed but before pouring into the pan

spread pineapple slices in bottom of pan...spread brown sugar over pineapple then pour your batter and bake as directed..EZ

  2. Deviled eggs are easy.  Polish roses (the cream cheese and meat around green onions) or pickle wraps (made the same way).  Cut up cheese and pickles and olives.  Or, get meat sticks, cut them up, and put on wooden sticks the meat, olives, pickles, cheese cubes.  Chips and dip and tortilla chips and salsa.  Mac and cheese...  here is an easy recipe that turns out great!

14 oz chicken broth or water

    1 C plus 2 T uncooked macaroni

    3/4 C milk

    2 T butter cut up

    2 t flour

    salt and pepper

    1 1/2 C shredded cheese

Mix all except cheese.  Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 40 minutes stirring after 15 minutes and 30 minutes.  Remove from oven after 40 minutes and stir in cheese.

    Very easy!

  3. fried chicken

  6. A good side dish:

Quantity depends on your own choice, depending on how many you want to feed.  That's why I left the amount up to you.

Boil Tiny Red Potatoes (leave skins on)

Cook Fresh or frozen green beans per directions.

Once these are cooked, in a medium size fry pan (or larger if you're making a bigger batch), 1/8 cup good olive oil, 2-3 crushed garlic gloves.  On low heat, warm olive oil and garlic for about a minute.  Add potatoes and green beans.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Toss all ingredients.  You can add oregano or basil if you like.

This is simple and doesn't need to be served hot.  Warm or room temp is OK.

  7. Hi!

If you're going the low- or no-cost route, it helps to split the menu into sections and delegate food prep. The larger your group, the more people you'll need to handle each part of the meal.

What works: when you have to please a large range of tastes, it's best to stick to the basics. Tried and true recipes with short ingredient lists are also much easier to scale up or down to suit the size of your party.

There is LOADS of things to make from the website below..

I just picked this out its my favourite

    Honey Chicken Kabobs

    INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

    60 ml vegetable oil

    80 ml honey

    80 ml soy sauce

    0.5 g ground black pepper

8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes

    2 cloves garlic

5 small onions, cut into 2 inch pieces

2 red bell peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces

    skewers

    Add to Recipe Box

    Add to Shopping List

    Add a Personal Note

    DIRECTIONS

In a large bowl, whisk together oil, honey, soy sauce, and pepper. Before adding chicken, reserve a small amount of marinade to brush onto kabobs while cooking. Place the chicken, garlic, onions and peppers in the bowl, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 2 hours (the longer the better).

Preheat the grill for high heat.

Drain marinade from the chicken and vegetables, and discard marinade. Thread chicken and vegetables alternately onto the skewers.

Lightly oil the grill grate. Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, until chicken juices run clear. Turn and brush with reserved marinade frequently.
