any tips and advice and is there anyway i can stop it from going to the ground?

  1. learn japanese crane technique like in that movie karate kid.  its the most realistic portrayal of martial arts that there is and if you study it you cant lose.


  2. Better to back out and be called a coward/pu$$y or whatever people call you than to be an airhead and go into a fight not knowing anything.  

  3. You shouldnt really fight.

    Learn some defense move,Different type of blocking.Punching.Kicking will help.

  4. once he goes for the take down, sprawl, and make sure your legs have a wide base-if he tries to go for a leg sweep, reverse it by pivoting your hips against him and lifting his balance with your leg-this will flip him right over....you are talking about an mma fight right?

  5. use your palms. they are stronger then your fist. block attacks so your attacker weakens then you strike. :]  good luck.

  6. are u very experienced in street fighting if not stick to the basics it sounds stupid and a lot of people mite disagree  but go for big hits to the weak places like nose and temples and solar plexus and KEEP YOUR GUARD UP no point tryin three punch combos if its your first fight but if you h ave some experience play to you strenghts and there weaknesses think bout it first are they bigger try being fast are they a fast hitter try get in close if you dont want it to go to the ground try spawling when they lean forward to take you down fall forwards and engage them about equal hight from the ground so they cant lift you up or push you down

  8. dont kick anywhere above the opponents knee because you wont be sure-footed

    check for body language (analyze his movements so you can understand what he will do before he does it)

    you will be able to block kicks very easily if they are to the upper body or head -- it takes more energy and longer to kick -- so it is like watching a person punch in slower motion

    dont glare at him

    watch your surroundings -- keep an eye on him as a whole and not just part of his body.

    have a lower stance when in fighting position in order to maintain sure-footedness.

    ...if this is a street fight make sure he attempts to attack you first or he has the the upper hand in the court of law claiming he was defending himself, dont kick him when he is down on the ground or you can be held for self-defense with excessive force...

    if you know some self-defence moves that involve locks i suggest going for the wrist because that way you can maneuver him into a position that suits you best (in one instance... if he throws a sucker punch (which is a punch that comes from the side) jump-slide (move quickly) forward, block it quickly wrap your arm around his arm starting from the top of his arm so you have his arm firmly locked under your armpit (this motion is an outward motion starting over and ending under (start out as if you are waxing a car anti-clockwise (for left arm and clockwise for right arm) (squeeze your arm towards your chest in order to maintain a powerful grip) you can now punch him in the face with your free arm -- try break his nose... first make sure he is in a great deal of pain, still while squeezing his arm,  turn around grab the back of his wrist (lower part above the part that allows flexibility in the wrist -- have your four fingers on the outer palm and the thumb on the upper top of his hand just under but between the middle finger and the pointer finger -- test it on your self and check what works for you, you must have complete mobility of the opponents hand -- now bend the wrist forward his pain receptors will kick in immediately rendering him harmless grab his wrist with the other hand (the one wrapped around his arm(do it so he cannot retract his arm)) now placing your fingers and thumb the same way as you have with your other hand  -place this thumb between his ring finger and middle finger (it's vice versa if you are doing it to his right arm) once you are putting force on his wrist you have full control of his arm. you can now utilize your strength to either brake his wrist, or arm, you can even  tell him to lie down on the ground if you want... this must all be one motion.

    instance two if he throws a sucker punch, jump-slide forward block the punch grab his neck with your wrist bent forward and pull the neck downwards and knee him in the face/chest, or the place that hurts the most -- the crotch or nuts

    notice how your hands naturally bend inwards when you put them down on a desk now do that with a fist and put your hand down again. Now when you punch you must bend your left fist left and your right fist right so that the bones are alligned (this way is the correct way). this is extremely important because you can sprain your wrist when punching without doing so..

    oh and NEVER hesitate or be afraid
