  1. It is going to be the worst experience of your life. They will eat you alive. They will gang up on you and use pressure tactics to get you to make a rash decision. Go with another reliable person who has knowledge about cars/price. 2 is better than 1.

    GL.................Rich

  2. they all have issues but i would have to pick the focus

  3. All things equal, I would pick the Protege.

You will want to make sure an independent mechanic inspects whichever car you intend to purchase.

  4. I'm in the car biz. I personally say the Mazda is the better on your list. Make sure that you run a carfax on any used vehicle that you buy to check the history of it. The dealer should offer this for free.

  5. id go with the mazda or the ford

but to get the best price

    use psychology

the people there are trained to not make you leave

and since yoru a female, and if you going there by yourself

    theyll sweet talk you

  6. you can't go wrong with a ford. it's the best of the bunch you listed. my friends daughter has one for 2 years now and hasn't had any trouble

  7. I have no idea which model is better, but I am sure you will be able to find some pricing on kbb.com. (I personally prefer Japanese made than American, they are better on gas, and have less mechanical problems. A good example would be a Honda Civic, or maybe a Corolla, etc) The info I would like to share with you is, I just got a second hand car from carmax, and I really liked it. They have this "no haggle" price, so either you take it for the price they ask for, or not take it at all. Maybe you can see how much they ask for, so you know what might be a reasonable price for them, then go to the dealer. Also, make sure you bring someone (a male in particular), cause most dealer assume girls like you and me don't know about cars, which is not a good news for us.

Good luck on finding your car!
