Im going to be auditioning to be a Disney character look-a-like i would just like to know what it is like!?

i want to be one of the fairies to be exact, but i am open to anything...i will do whatever they think i would be the best at...i would love to hear from some current cast members at WDW...and i also am wondering about dorms?, i have heard tons of different things and i would love to hear some tips because i am really nervous!

  1. I'm auditioning to be a fairy in CA this coming August so I totally understand the nervousness. Anyway, for an audition don't overload your face with make-up or wear a costume- a  lot of people get cut because of that.  They want to see you so they can see your potential and sum up what characters you could possibly be.  Wear clothing that you can move in and that isn't dressy, but that you look nice in.  Make sure your hair is clean and done nicely- even if it is a pony tail, make it a nice Disney pony tail.

    The audition is really just standing there and smiling and then they cut 90% of the people based on that alone. So have fun with it and don't be nervous.  Try not to count on it too much because sometimes it takes 10-12 auditions to get hired. Learn as much as you can about the fairies so that if you do make it to further rounds, you know how to play the characters.  If not, go to more auditions and keep trying!
