Im going to be traveling as as unaccompanied minor. Anything important i should know??

I would really like to know how I check in and wait to depart on my plane. What is the process. Will I get any help??? What is going to happen when i get there. what should i do?? Is there anything necessary i need to know??

Just ask an airline person and they will tell you where to go. Make sure you have a meeting place set up with the person who is picking you up and make sure you both have cell phones so you can call when you get off the plane.

If you are a fee paying registered UM, then all you have to do is show up at the ticket counter with the person responsible for you. They "sign" you over to the airline. They will take care of you from there. Don't worry about it because that is what they are getting paid for. They will escort you and not leave you unattended. If you are by yourself and un-registered, Tell the agent when you check in, and they can direct you. Also, if you are registered, do not try to sneak off the airplane by yourself. And if any other passengers do any thing that is inappropriate,do not be afraid to tell the Flight Attendants.  I do hope you have a adult accompanying you on both ends.     Have fun, and make sure to pack some things to entertain yourself with in Case of audio problems. Oh, and some snacks too!

Get to the airport early & check any bags. Find out where you will be boarding your plane & get your boarding pass early. Wait for your flight number to be called & board. They will ask for your boarding pass & maybe ID. Be sure to have at least a state ID when you travel .

Don't talk to any strangers. Speak only with the flight attendants and let them know you are alone. No one else needs to know your business.

Take a magazine to read or listen to the music they have on flight to relax.  Make sure where your family will be meeting you when you land. Have a great trip.
