  3. I answered a similar question like this the other day.  Here is what my answer was.  Griffon is my favorite coaster at BGE.  Don't forget to watch some of the shows too!

There are 5 coasters, Apollo's Chariot, Big Bad Wolf, Alpengeist, Loch Ness Monster, and the newest coaster, Griffon.

Apollo's Chariot is a non looping coaster, but has lots of up and down hills. It's a smooth coaster and one of my favorites.

Big Bad Wolf is a suspended coaster. No loops, the track is over your head. It's a little jerky, but the ride takes you through an old Barvarian village making for nice scenery during the ride. The second hill has an intense drop, but it's fast and fun!

The other three coasters all contain loops.

Alpengeist is fun. The coaster is a suspended coaster that makes you feel like you're a skier on a ski lift trying to escape the snow monster. Lots of flips and turns, but it's a great ride.

Loch Ness Monster only has two loops, they interchange, and it's the only coaster of it's kind today. It's a gentle ride, but it's short.

Griffon, the newest coaster is by far one of the best coasters around. It's a drop coaster, so when you get to the top of the first hill, it stops and dangles you over the edge for 3 seconds. It's terrifying but fun. The rest of the ride is full of loops and turns, a few bunny hops, and a splash in the pool at the end. A sweet ride!!

For the shows, there are lots to choose from, but being opening weekend, I'm not sure if everything is available. If you can catch the Irish Dancers, watch them! The show and dancing is incredible!!

Das Fest Haus has a good show to watch while you're eating inside. It's a great way to get a break from the heat of the day or the cold since it's indoors. And if you like german food, that's the place to go.

At the front of the park is a 4-D theatre that's really cool. The shows are usually more for kids and family's, but they're fun. Here's a link to BG's site with the show times for tomorrow.

There are other rides at the park too. If you like water rides, Escape from Pompeii is fun. You travel into a building that has the ruins from Pompeii falling around you and lots of fire, then the doors open up and you drop down the hill into a splash of water. You'll get wet so wait until it's hot to ride it.

In Da Vinci's garden of inventions in Italy, there are rides like the Battering Ram (a pirate ship more or less), that rocks back and forth, and Da Vinci's Cradle that sways back and forth.

You also have two indoor rides, Corkscew Hill located in Ireland, and Curse of Darkastle located in Oktoberfest.

Corkscew Hill is a motion ride where you are strapped into the seats and watch a 3-D movie with glasses on. It's fun but if you get motion sickness, you might want to skip it.

Curse of Darkastle is almost the same way, except you sit in sleds that take you around a castle into various rooms. You still wear the 3-D glasses, but it's a fun ride. Hit that one early in the day as the line can get long and the courtyard gets hot when you're just standing there waiting.

When you're ready to eat, there are tons of places to go to suit all tastes.

Das Fest Haus has great german food as well as american food. The sandwiches are big, so if you plan to share, this is a good place to go.

Ristorante Della Piazza has good Italian food, and you can watch a nice song and dance show while you dine.

My favorite restaurant though is Trapper's SmokeHouse. If you love BBQ, go here. For about $10, you can get a half chicken meal with waffle fries and a roll. Great food!! The place gets packed quickly during lunch, but the lines move fast. They also serve salmon, salads, brisket, and ribs.

There are also smaller eateries around the park as well. In Ireland, there's Grogan's Grill which has good Irish foods.

If you want dessert, grab a waffle ice cream cone at one of the ice cream shops. I love the banana split waffle cone. Ice cream, sliced bananas and strawberries, and hot fudge.

Don't forget to take plenty of money for souveniers too.

All in all, you'll have a good time. I've never had a bad visit to Busch Gardens. This is one of the best amusement parks in the country.

  4. i went there last summer and i love  coasters so ride these coasters:

Griffon: Set amid a French village, Griffon carries riders up 205 feet, then hurtles them 90 degrees straight down at 75 mph. And that’s just the beginning. Griffon evokes the power and speed of a mythical beast that is part eagle part lion. It plunges, twists and turns - giving riders an adrenaline - pumping adventure that's unlike any coaster experience in the world. Griffon is the tallest dive coaster in the world; the first floorless dive coaster; and the first to incororate two Immelmann loops (an inverse diving loop named for a WWI German fighter pilot). Griffon offers over-the-edge excitement on more than half a mile steel track and will become the centerpiece of Busch Gardens Europe's French Section.

Curse of DarKastle: Busch Gardens’ newest adventure sends passengers careening through a castle frozen in time. Integrating state-of-the-art ride engineering with the latest in image projection and 4-D technology, Curse of DarKastle produces a profoundly moving and unique thrill ride experience.

Alpengeist: A snow monster notorious for once stalking the French and German Alps, Alpengeist is rumored to be lurking in the shadows of Busch Gardens’ Germany. Marks of its mischief are evident as the ski-lift-style steel roller coaster winds through treacherous territory, propelling riders on a dynamic journey.

Apollo’s Chariot: Gut-wrenching adventure awaits aboard Apollo’s Chariot, the park’s hypercoaster. Experience the ultimate in airtime as passengers plummet 209 feet on this steel roller coaster’s first drop.

The Big Bad Wolf: Among the world’s first suspended roller coasters, The Big Bad Wolf sends guests “howling” at the speed of fright. Suspended from an overhead track, riders fly seemingly out-of-control through a deserted Bavarian village.

Loch Ness Monster: Continually rated a favorite by park guests, this classic interlocking, double-looping roller coaster gives guests a peek at Scotland’s most infamous serpent. “Nessie” hurls its passengers along 3,240 feet of steel track into the air, over water and through a dark cave.

  5. alpengiest is best in my opinion cuz it goes fast and has a nice amount of loops, griffon is good cuz u get MAJOR adrenaline rush but it really isnt all that once ur going straight down u feel like ur going at a zero degree slope, the big bad wolf is not worth waiting for trust me, apollos chariot is good you linger on drop for like 4 seconds*picture is at end of ride*,lochness monster aint really that much either but does go upside down so it is better than big bad wolf.

  6. I think it is called Apollos chariot I haven't been there in a long time
