Babies aren't harder, they need the same things as an adult as far as setup, but they need much smaller insects to eat.  Do NOT use sand or other loose bedding!

  2. a baby so u can raise it better

  3. I'd recommend a well started adult, or older juvenile so you don't have to deal with that aspect of it. Once you've had it for a while and have learned what you are doing by all means get a baby.

  4. A baby will be jumpy at first but you can train it to not be. An adult may or may not be jumpy but if it is its alot harder to keep it from being jumpy.

  5. You can pick whichever you want if you use paper towels as the bedding for the smaller ones.

They only major issue with the babies is that they might eat the sand (if that's you bedding) and it could possibly block up their intestinal track. But if you want a baby or rather small one, just use paper towel for the bedding until it gets larger. After the gecko is about 6 months of age you don't need to worry as much and can use sand for the bedding if you wish.

P.s remember to give them a calcium source if you don't use sand. You can powder the crickets or worms that your going to feed the geckos just before feeding with calcium powder.

Just google "calcium leopard geckos" and you will find more in-depth information on this issue.

In the end if you use paper towels as the bedding you can pick any baby you want. After 6 months you can add sand to the habitat if you wish.

Other then the sand issue there really is no difference between adults and babies.
