Im going to buy a battery from walmart for the auio system in my room,so i can have a full car audio system?

in my room,,,but the thing is,how do i connect the little battery wire from the amp to the battery if the battery doesnt have any little k***s to go around the post.?

Better yet go to radio shack and get a 12V power supply.  I'm not talking about those little wall plug.  See these:

Why don't you go to an electronics store and purchase a 120 to 12 volt transformer? With the battery, you'll need a battery charger anyway to keep the battery charged, and that's just a stepdown transformer. Tell the electronics store people what you want to do and they'll help you.

You would need some battery posts, or you should be getting a deep cycle battery for what you are doing, this will allow you to discharge and charge it frequently, a regular battery won't take that kind of abuse. Some deep cylcles will have threaded terminals on top.

sound tacky and not cool, you can get a good stereo system for your room instead.
