I was just wondering if this headunit would power these speakers nicely, and clearly.

  1. Dealing with them separately, the speakers are a great choice.  I was going to get those but could not fit components in my car (without heaps of hard labour!).  They will sound good on the HU but will only sound great if you hook them up to an amp.  I suggest giving them 70w RMS each (instead of 25w RMS which the HU will be providing).   Underpowering speakers is not only a waste of potential but can also damage them if you turn up the HU too much.  If you do not intend to turn the speakers up at all, don't worry (but whats the point of buying good speakers if you don't use them to their full potential! hehe).

I cannot comment on the HU but I hear Blaupunkt is quality.  I think Pioneer is the best for the money though.

Give me your thoughts and I will help you further.  In particular, do you intend to buy more speakers or perhaps a sub?
