Im going to canda at the end of this month and I was wondering...?

Do i need a passport to get in or get out of Canada? All I needed last year was a birth certificate. I know thier planning on making it so you need a passport but im not sure if they have done it...If you answer please leave a link to where you got the info, thanks.

P.S. Im driving thier.

You will need only proof of citizenship and government issued photo ID.  (assuming you're an American and are talking about entering/leaving to/from the USA.)  Effective June 2009 you will need a passport to enter the United States.

I'm pretty sure you don't need a passport until June, 2009.
