Question:

Im going to get a ginny pig! i want to name it eve. is it ok to keep a ginny pig's cage in the basement?

  1. Make sure your basement is free of drafts (such as wind blowing from air conditioning) or block her cage from them. Since she won't be in your room, it might be harder to remember to change her cage, so keep on top of that.

  2. Yes.! my friend had 3 and they lasted a while.have fun.

  3. Just make sure it's not too hot or too cold down there, and also that you don't have any bug or snake problems down there.

    If possible, though, it's really better to put the cage in a room in the house where there's usually a member of the family around. This way they will get tame much quicker :)
