Im going to get my nipples pierced in a couple weeks but i know my skin is wicked sensitive. what kind of ?

You're nipples? That's interesting, but whatever floats your boat! Well I think that no matter what jewelry store you go to, they mark the ones that are meant for sensitive skin. And if they haven't, you can ask someone who works there. I'm pretty sure that there's some type of surgical steel that is best for sensitive skin but I'm not an expert.

I used to work at a tattoo and piercing parlor in a town with VERY strict regulations on jewelry and materials and what not that we could use in the  shop.

In that town, the only thing you legally could use to do any piercing was surgical grade steel, like, the kind they use for medical procedures. I've never seen anyone have a problem with that stuff.

If your town has less strict laws, though, you may want to talk to the piercer beforehand and ask them about what metal they use for their jewelry, and if they can do anything about your particular problem. I would advise giving them enough time to order special jewelry for you in case their usual stuff might cause an allergic reaction.

Generally, though, most professional places are using good quality stuff anyway, and you probably shouldn't have a problem.

always trust your piercer, as long as your going to a respected place.  when i got my nipples pierced, i almost passed out, and a coke snapped me right out of it. i would suggest bringing your fave soft drink with plenty of sugar! good luck :)

Yikes! Why poke c**p through your nipples?

Ask the person doing the piercing.

If they don't know, don't let them poke c**p through your nipples!!

None.  Why take an unnecessary chance, and end up with with your nipples having a severe reaction and maybe getting cut off.
