Im going to have my period during volleyball tryouts =[

k, i'm going to be a sophomore this year in high school and there is pretty much no doubt that i will make the volleyball team not to be cocky....but i just got my period this year and never had it while playing a sport. i have worn tampons before but im worried im going to leak during tryouts =[ or have really bad cramps while sprinting or running the mile.

is there certain foods i should or shouldn't eat?

im going to be wearing tight spandex shorts with lacrosse shorts over them so im not worried about like my tampon falling out..im just worried about cramps, headaches, or like passing out or something....

please dont answer this question with an answer like ask a female in your family. i just wanna know!!!

  1. probably eat a bunch of health good. and use a pad, it works better in sports unless you swim or wear short shorts or white or something.


  2. For the cramping, eat bananas. They have potassium which helps with cramping. I'm in the same position as you lol, but i'm a freshman [im soo nervous for tryouts tomorrow!] If you start feeling woozy, or anything, just tell the coach you aren't feeling so good. They will understand and probably let you sit for a few minutes. =]
