If it is a question of what is appropriate ... be yourself,  fly in comfortable clothes.

Summer in Italy has come sooner than usual! It's quite hot here!!

During the day in Rome you'll wear short sleeves... It gets cooler at evening..and you might need a jacket!

i was in italy in april a couple of years ago and on thursday i was down the market and got burnt alive then on sunday it was snowing and i was going around all sunburnt. better just pack for all eventualities.

I just got back from Rome yesterday.  It was rather warm during the day (about mid-70's).  At night, there was a nice breeze and it was in the 50's.  Light jacket will do the trick.  Springtime is a beautiful time in Italy! ...but then again, it's always beautiful :-)

Don't forget comfortable shoes!

Also, I'd never recommend sleeveless shirts and shorts in Italy.  Many churches won't let you in with these clothes.

Hi u can see the weather and the temperature on this site http://www.meteo.it/ (click on "Località turistiche" and then fill the name of the city "Roma") So u can see the weather forecasts from today till Wednesday! It will be on Saturday cloudy and 19 degrees. I suggest u to wear a t-shirt and a cotton sweatshirt on. Enjoy ur trip!!!
