If the Mexican military finds it they will seize it and will not give it back. And you wll be in a Mexican prison for a long *** time. I believe but not certain you need a certificate for traveling with firearms in Mexico. But even then they may seize it.The mexican military hates Americans. Mexico's gun laws are as strict as police state UK. With skyrocketing crime rates like police state UK. As predicted by people with functioning brains.

Funny thing is Mexico is always bitching at Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona becuase that where most of there illegal guns are bought from. I say you disarmed your populace and the predictable outcome happened. They actually have a 2nd ammendment type law in their constituition or whatever primary document for laws is called but they don't respect it.

I would suggest leaving it at home.  Actually, I'd suggest staying home.  The US State Department has issued a travel advisory on Mexico.  Look it up.  Seriously.

Mexico has very strict laws about US Citezens with weapons.  You can end up in a Mexican jail for a long, long time for weapons violations.  They like to make an example of Americans.  Seriously, don't take any firearm to Mexico, unless you have all the proper paperwork, etc.

If you are traveling via airline, absolutely not, but if you are taking a car I don't see why not. Also, you have the know what the statutes are in that community you're going to. They might not allow stuff like that.

dude you can do anything that you want in mexico, noyhing seems to be enforced in there. i bet that if you bring an atomic bomb there they wont even care.
