Im going to mexico on a mission trip!! help me get prepared?

this saturday im leaving at 2 in the morning for mexico!!! i will be there for 1 week. i will be painting and helping out with kids at the church and singing. i have to wear skirts the whole time except while sleeping basically. well anyways, i was just wondering if you can help me get a little prepared and let me know what to bring. im going tonight or tomorrow night to target i do believe to get a twin air mattress, cuz otherwise id be on cement floor. im bringing bug spray and also ive been taking acidopholis (sp?) pills so i most likely wont get sick from the different food down there. is there anything else i should get before i leave? i have a HUGE bag that im checking and im bringing a backpack for on the plane and stuff. also, what is it like down there? i think im going near a place called tampeko. any tips or advice??

You can bring an Ipod or a DS or PSP Or Gameboy. You can also bring chips. You can bring a toothbrush, and sunscreen, and a towel. Also bring a pillow and mattress.

I have been to Mexico many times , because I have family there. It sounds to me like you have prepared quite well already, but I do have one suggestion. Do not drink the water there. Make sure you either take bottled water with you or make sure you purchase only bottled water while you are there. Oh that goes for ice too, don't use the ice. hope this tip  helps. good luck, and travel well.
