Yes, It"s right off of I-44 and you will drive right to the fort where there is a lot of security. Just take I-44 west to Tulsa out of St. Louis.

Head west to Rolla. Don't go over the speed limit in Rolla because that is where the main Highway Patrol headquarters is located and they will stop you. Stay on  I-44 through Rolla until you exit at Fort Leanord Wood.

When you exit you will be on the main road that takes you directly on to the fort property. You will have to stop and get a Visitors pass at the security gate.  Heres a map

Sure, just get on I44 West, about 130 miles or so... it's as safe a drive as you make it.

Yes, just be careful! Also in the army it's basic not boot camp. :)
