  1. no you cant becouse the dvd player dont have any program to support the powerpoint program

  2. My answer is YES!

If you want to make a playable then play your PowerPoint on DVD machine and so on, you should convert your PowerPoint to the DVD format at first, here is 3 ways for you.

    1. Using PPT2DVD to convert it directory to DVD. You can download this tool from http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/download/power... Import the presentation, and then click next to convert your PowerPoint, and then click next to burn your presentation. After that the CD can play on any computer or TV with a DVD machine.

    2. Windows Movie Maker, save you presentation to JEPG format then import this those pictures into windows movie maker but the animations and sounds will lost.

    3. Using some screen record like comtasia, you can record your screen when your play your presentation on computer.

  3. You can use Windows Movie Maker to help you do this,

you can also do this by using some professional conversion tool.

If you choose to use WMM, you'd better make sure there is no animation or too much sounds and movie clips in your powerpoint.

As these elements would be easily lost after the conversion.

If you want to get a higher quality, you can use some tool such as Acoolsoft PPT2DVD to help you do this.

It is a professional PowerPoint to DVD conversion tool which helps you easily burn PowerPoint to DVD, or converts them to MPEG Video.

With 3-Click simplicity, you can burn your PowerPoint presentations on DVD with transitions, animations, sound and movies retained.

You can even create flexible DVD Menus for your PowerPoint presentations to play on TV with a DVD remote control.

You can read more about this tool from:

    http://www.ppt-to-video.com/powerpoint-t...

Or simply you can download a free trial version first:

    Hope it helps!

  4. Hi,

If all you need is pictures of the slides then you can use PowerPoint's File > Save As and choose the file type JPEG.  That will create a folder full of pictures (no sounds or animations) that you can put on a CD.  Most newer DVD players will then play the pictures as a slide show. Without muss or fuss.

If you have access to a Mac, use Mac PowerPoint 2008 File > Make Movie feature. That saves your presentation as a movie file that can be turned into a DVD using iDVD.

  6. no because the presentation package was made with software to run on a pc.

the way that you can try doing this [although it is a pain] is to copy

your slides to a paint file

[copy from powerpoint [each one; ctrl+c]

then open paint and click paste, ctrl+v]

then it should run as a slide show.

[copy the paint files normally using a program such as nero, record now, or directly from windows to the cd drive]

but the dvd player has to be compatible with cdrs
