P.S-My parents dont no im on late either!

  2. when i first started secondary school there were loads of people who had no friends going. No one from their old school or anything. You make friends really quickly. I made a friend on my first day, just by talking to the girl who sat next to me in class. Even though we never became the best of friends, we still feel some loyalty to each other even now.

Just ask people their name, what school they went to. When you're starting new classes, ask them what their favourite subject is, when you meet new teachers, ask someone next to you what they think about the teacher. Questions are the key. Just don't ask to many or they'll think you're bothering them.

Just get through the first day finding out people's names and stuff, after that you'll be FORCED to meet people. You will literally have no choice. Don't worry, you'll be fine.

check to see if they have a Peer Helper's program (or some other support group) in your school and if you still have problems you can talk to people like that. Don't be afraid to approach someone like a Peer Helper, or feel that it's a waste of time. They can actually be really helpful.

  3. what is a secondary school? is that like alternitive school?

  4. Hello;

Don't worry yourself about this i was in the same situation when i started school 4 years ago.The worst thing you can do is not be yourself because you then spend 5 years being someone your not!

Just be as friendly as possible ,remember that every single person who is going to a new secondary school feels the same as you so your not alone.Be nice, smile and don'tt worry things are never as bad as they seem

hope you make many friends and enjoy your new school x

  5. None of my friends went to my school either. You'll be fine. It's quite fun making new mates anyway and it's not necessarily a bad idea to keep your friends and your school life separate.

  6. I had a similar problem. You will find friends quickly, whether its the girl next to you in math, or those guys you asked if you could basketball with, eventually you will find your place. Odds are your not the only person without any friends so give it some time.

    =)

  7. dnt worry.

be cool with every one and clever as there will be groups who'll test ya.

I went on my todd as well and I was ok for the first year, in fact so ok that people elected me as rep without me standing for it, and no not to be cruel to me! I became like popular more so than I ever imagined!

only problem is I got in with the wrong crowd who lets say stabbed me in the back and I was naive and didn't realise till it was too late.

but be your good self and don't degrade yourself by doing whatever people ask like dumb small and stupid favors just to get in. Go into class and say hi to everyone near you and those you pass and be confident about yourself. as time goes on you'll settle in I promise. and try and be a good judge of character to steer clear of the bad crowds.

good luck, have as much fun as possible cause these years of freedom won't come back and will be just distant memories so make these memories sweet and fun.

  8. Ano its scary but try not to worry about it too much.

U wont b the onli one who doesnt know anyone. You'll make new friends soon enough!

    Good Luck!

  9. dont worry you would make lots of new friends. many of my new friends came to secondary school on their own. and secondary school is so much bigger than primary so you could make friends easily.

  10. I had that very problem, but now being in year 10 soon i've got loads of friends.

  11. Keep your head held up high and a stiff upper lip. Stay strong and dont be nobodys fool. Good luck and I hope you have a great time at your new school

  12. make new friends, i had the exact situation when u see some who look friendly talk to him or her and when ur at lunch ask  people if you could sit by them.    hope i helped.

  13. i'm sure you'll make friends soon enough. It's very likely that there will be quite a few pupils who feel like you do. be a friend and you will get new friends. good luck.

  14. Don't worry about it, when you start high school everyone is in the same situation, so everyone finds someone to talk to! On Tuesday evening you'll be looking back at yourself wondering why you were so nervous!

  15. The same thing happened to me, and I'm someone who is very shy and doesnt like confronting or making conversation with new people, but I made friends no problem. You'll be fine, and good luck.
