Im going to take dance classes. what classes do you like the best??

i was thinking about taking hiphop and jazz.

what kind of dancing is hiphop?

and what kind of dancing is jazz?

hip-hop: baggy clothes. sharp gestures

jazz: fosse, like broadway. tight clothing.

both are fun. ;)

hip hop is the kind of dancing that they do in video clips  it is very fast paced and there is alot of steps involved i have tried it its heaps of fun

i have never tried jazz but i do no that it is slower and it would probably be easier trying jazz if its ur first time dancing.

Jazz and hip hop are good classes to take together! Technique from either one helps with the other.

Hip hop, is usually done to hip hop and rap music, its pretty much street jazz.  The moves are complex

Jazz, is more based on technique, it is used in musical theater and commercial and entertainment industries.

Jazz is the type of dance you see on broadway. Very upbeat and happy. When performing you always have to smile.
