  1. I've been going for a long time and still find it scary!

Pedestal - you sound like a great optician!

  2. As I used to say: "The worst thing I do to my patients is tell bad jokes".  Mind you the jokes were pretty bad.

(It can be a good way to relax people.)

What we want to do is make sure your eyes are healthy, that they work well as a team, check how well they can see, and whether they could be tuned to see better.

That will mean looking at them close up, a few different ways with a few different instruments and machines, and trying some lenses to see if they will make a difference, and if so, exactly which ones.

We do not pop eyes out.

We do not stick things in them.

(a puff of air, possibly, eye drops, possibly... It would be worth taking sunglasses: if you have drops, it might be dazzly when you come out.  Neither are that much fun, but neither are terrible.  I've been on the receiving end many, many, times.)

    We don't ask impossible questions.

(If you're not sure, "don't know " is a great answer.  Much better than a wild guess or sitting there going "errrrrr..."

You won't get glasses, or the wrong glasses, from one mistaken answer.  We build the picture up gradually, and cross-check.)

If you're having trouble with the questions it's OUR job to find better questions.  Not your problem, ours.

    Oh yes...

Why aren't there any aspirin in the jungle?

    Parrots eat 'em all.

  3. you might get glasses.  it's not scary.

  4. its 3:50 nowww =[

but lol chillllll..he wont kill you

you might get glasses and if you dont like them ask for contacts

  5. Well I just got glasses in March this year for the same thing that I can't see far away. They won't do anything to hurt you. They mostly just do simple tests that are not even scary. Also if you do get glasses you probably might only need them for school like looking at the board not for reading.

    Things to know:

    They check your side vision.

Check your close vision and far away vision, mostly like how far or close up you can read.

Put a blow of air in your eye sometimes to make sure your eye can feel things.

And if you have a eye doctor and not one that just gives you a prescription, then they will check if your eyes are healthy.
