  1. I am sure none of you giving an answer to this question, are English.... but if you are.... have you tried English food... it is great.... some of the answers on here make me feel quite sickly....and hardly think its mouth watering.

  2. biryani is my favorite.  it has curry and is baked with rice on top.

tandoori can be kind of dry.

try the naan, they also have potato naan which is awesome.

samosa are usually a pretty popular appetizer.

    avoid vindaloo (wickedly hot).

  3. Every time I eat out I eat King prawn usually bhuna. Thats the best dish. With a naan. Gorgeous.

  4. I always have Biryani Dishes, it comes with it's own Basmati rice and accompanied with a vegetable curry sauce.

The dishes I like are: Chicken Biryani, Vegetable Biryani or Prawn Biryani.

To go with that I have a Garlic Nan.

  5. I had chicken piaza last night and it was lurrvely... Last time I had chicken podani and it was SPECTACULAR (all minty-fresh and sweet!). And mango chicken will probably remain my all-time chicken favourite. But I love curried fish dishes too. Always a bit sweeter and lighter and richer, all at the same time!

Remember to have a mango lassi to finish.

  6. go for a fhal, very hot though>if you like mild spicy curry go for a madras,If your not a veggie, go for a keema nan, they are the best.Saga loo is also to die for, have agood night

  7. I'd have chicken dupiaza, pilau rice, naan bread and cauliflower bhaji with chillis in mmm xx

  8. Yum! I love to try new things and Indian Food is one of  my favorite discoveries! I like to order either tandoori chicken with aloo gobi which is this delicious combination of cauliflower and potatoes and spices, yummy!  Or try a curried meat, chicken or lamb are both tasty. Make sure you order some naan, garlic is my favorite, it's Indian bread, thin like a pita but soft and toasted, they usually have plain, garlic and onion and some others I've not yet tried.  Soak up the flavor of the sauces with rice, now I think I have to go get some Indian food!  Enjoy!

  9. Butter chicken and Naan bread if its a north indian resturant

  10. ok.. i have to disagree with the guy who said go with chapati. i am an indian. pls trust me aand  dont take that. its very boring and when you eat dishes with it you cant really taste the dishes. tandoori is good and so is naan.. go with garlic naan if you find that.. its awesome. if you are planning to take dishes, you have to take rice with it. its really good. rice is the only food indians eat with dishes. about dishes.. i cant recomend anything..i like all of them..

  11. The best bet is to have naan (bread), aloo gobi bhaji (cauliflower and potatoes) and palak paneer (spinach and cheese). I am a vegetarian and hence suggesting these options.

  12. Below is a Indian restaurant menu, take a look at it, they even put it in English for you to read......

  13. Chicken madras, 2 chappati, matta paneer.  (NO RICE!!!)

Use the chapati to pick up the meat and sauce!

Trust me...you will never have rice again with an Indian restaurant meal.

Ask the waiters how to use the chapati.  It is how most Indians eat their food.

  14. If you want to try something a little different, try the malai kofta. they are vegetable friters in a creamy, spiced sauce that are just wonderful.  Also, don;t forget to get some pakoras!

  15. Hi!

Have you every had a King Prawn Puri?

OMG - they are SO delicious!!

    You just GOTTA try one!

Not to mention the keema naans, onion bhajis etc., etc.

You've got my taste buds going now - darn you!!

    Have a GREAT meal!!
