republic and the Opus Hotel Bar in Yaletown are pretty good.

kind of upscale and trendy if your into that.

Only if you like paying a huge cover charge, drinking watered down drinks at $10 each, and being with all the people who think they are 'cool' for doing so.

yea republic is not too bad...depends what you liek tho...its pretty easy out there cause 80% of the clubs are on grandville street. But the other ones....atlantis is an asian bar, celebreties is a g*y club ( which is still great ) canvas and modern are great new clubs. Plush is really big but sorta going downhill. For a rockin good time go to roxy. Its more laid back and not so upscale.

Just make sure you hang out on Robson Street...(West End)...you'll find out 'what's happening' there.
