  1. actually jump drills and yoga seem to go well for volleyball and getting in shape.  They help lose the lbs. and increase vertical and flexibility.

  2. To play volleyball (or wear the spandex), you don't need to be ultra-skinny or anything, you just want to look toned. So, instead of focusing on just losing weight, maybe you want to focus on building up muscle strength and tone. Volleyball is a sport where you really need to be agile, so do excercises that focus on that. Here are some excercises I reccomend:

    1. Jumproping

    2. Wall sits - put your back up against a wall, and "sit down", so that your knees are at a 90 degree angle with your thighs. Do this starting at about 30 seconds, and go for longer periods of time as you get stronger.

    3. "Butt-kickers" - run for about 200 feet where with every step your feet come up and kick your butt

    4. "High-knees" Run about the same distance as butt kickers, this time with every step bringing your knees up as high as you can.

    5. Don't know what to call this one - jumping up and down? Anyway, find an object that is about a foot tall, and jump on top of it and down from it several times. This will build up strength in your legs.

    Hope I helped! Good luck!

  3. well don't be embarressed. if people laugh don't listen to them cause theyre not worth it. but if you feel like loosing pounds  just do crunches and play sports. you will exercise and have fun too.

  4. don't worry about what the others think of your body image show them that you really know how to play the game
