ok, i have this huge problem transferring to another school. Here in pennsylvania our state test is PSSA and since i went to military school i took the national test,Tera Nova. Since i didnt take the PSSA they are counting it as fail and taking away my electives and replacin them with seminar classes( help classes, not good for college)!!! I am going to see the school principal next week and i need to know if you people think tht they would give me my electives back if i show em my score on Tera Nova ( 91% in math and 84% in english)

  1. I, too, live in Pennsylvania, and in doing so, am familiar with the PSSA's. You did well on the standardized tests that you DID take, and I'm sure you can arrange something with your new principal. If not, they might give you the opportunity to take the PSSA's or an equivalent. If this happens, they are VERY EASY. I'm sure this happens to other students, and they can't just stick you in low classes because you couldn't take the test. Good luck!
