Im having a dental implant soon. Will i be put under and will i be in intense pain after the surgery?

Usually it is patient choice whether they want  to be put under and this would be IV sedation not general anesthesia like in a hospital. If you were going to sleep they would have told you not to eat or drink anything for 6-8 hours prior you surgery  time. There is generally very little pain post op surgery. You be ok taking only Motrin/Advil afterwords.

i had the same thing done just put some gaws on it and get at least 5 hours of sleep
