Im having a dental implant soon. Will i be put under and will i be in intense pain after the surgery?

  1. No and No.


  2. Usually it is patient choice whether they want  to be put under and this would be IV sedation not general anesthesia like in a hospital. If you were going to sleep they would have told you not to eat or drink anything for 6-8 hours prior you surgery  time. There is generally very little pain post op surgery. You be ok taking only Motrin/Advil afterwords.  

  3. i had the same thing done just put some gaws on it and get at least 5 hours of sleep
