You're probably letting your breath escape into the room after blowing on the water. Use a good quality sauce pan that will transfer heat very efficiently and place inside a plastic bag so that the heat from your breath stays inside the bag. Blow directly onto the sauce pan not onto the water and hold your breath before you blow as this will make your breath hotter. Are you the same person that had a question about mounting large boat engines on inner tubes?
