Im having a strange dream that is occuring all the time, it has to do with fire. Can anyone help?

In my dream, it seems as if im trying to survive somewhere in the wilderness. I am constantly trying to light a fire to keep myself safe/dry/warm but it never works. It always starts, but It always seems to smother. I usually wake up for cant remember what happens after. Can anyone help me with this?

This may refer to problems you have building relationships.

You manage to begin a relationship, but you can't maintain one.  Perhaps it is because you are only concerned with your own needs (to keep safe/warm/dry) and not concerned enough with nourishing the fire as needed.  You "smother" the fire with your own needs and demands... you "smother" a relationship, or the person in the relationship with your needs and demands, but do not give back enough to keep the relationship growing.
