first of all whats your budget when i had my sweet sixteen i got to spend 100,000 i hired a dj, a party planner, dancers, chefs, helicopter, you should hire a big place and tottaly decorate it with what ever things you like hiring a party planner really helps!!

For invites: Can I suggest tshirts?

Hand out tonnes of tshirts saying &quot;I got invited to pip and pops sweet sixteen and all i got was this lousy tshirt&quot;

Then have all of the details about the party on the inside tag.

Really, you want a theme for your party. It depends what you like as to what the theme will be, but some generic suggestions are:

Hire out a hall so you don&#039;t trash a house

Hire a GOOD dj.... possibly a band, but a DJ can play for longer

Bubble and smoke machines WILL make a much cooler mood, so will lasers and anything shiny.

mood lighting is needed desperately

Magicians, comedians, ventrilloquists, and those people who can contort into any shape are amazing to watch and will keep people who don&#039;t feel like getting up and dancing.

Because it&#039;s a joint 16&#039;th, you will probably be able to get a little bit more money than if it was just yours.

Some food ideas are a chocolate fountain, cupcakes, sushi, a fruit platter (with strawberries and chocolate) lollies of every kind (have a giant bowl of punch, and next to it, a giant bowl (exactly the same)  with jelly beans

pimps and hoes is a suggestion from one of my friends, but I would suggest that more for an `18th. I like the idea of a mad hatters party.
