  1. mai tai's  for drinks!

    fruit salad

  2. you should do shrimp shooters.  brine the shrimp in water, oranges, lemon, red onion, ciltrano.  then mix cocktail sauce with a vodka.  put in shot glasses, adding cocktail mixture first and then shrimp, maybe garnish with some greens.

  3. This is going to sound really stupid, but if you want to make it really Hawaiian, make some SPAM kabobs!  In Hawaii, you get SPAM on everything, even pizza!  But you won't find any pineapple on the pizza, unlike the typical "mainland" Hawaiian pizza served in parlors.

Just cube spam, skewer with toothpicks along with a grape tomato and maybe a bit of green bell pepper.  Nice finger food.

  4. Got Poi?

  5. A wonderful drink from Hawaii is "Chitzi".

1-6 oz can Coconut Syrup  (Available in most grocery stores)

1/8 of fresh ripe pinapple (sliced lengthwise)

    1 oz Vodka per drink

Fill a blender 3/4 full with crushed ice

    Pour in the Coconut syurp

Place the pinapple in the blender

Blend until liqiud.  Similar to a frozen Margherita.

    Fill a serving glass

Pour 1 oz vodka on top (do not stir)

You'll never have enough, so plan on that.

    Finger food?

    Don't serve Poi!  Please don't.

I can give you a non Hawiian finger food.  Italian.
