  1. Wash your hair every other day with shampoo that is for oily hair, but pay more attention to washing the roots. Also use a good conditioner that is for oily hair also. After drying, apply a light moisturizer to your hair, except the roots and brush evenly through your hair. Be careful not to dry out the ends of your hair by exposing it to a lot of heating tools every day. For your oily roots, don't brush your hair too often...the oil comes from the roots of you hair and goes to the ends as your brush. If you wash your hair every other day then you may not have that problem. Don't wash it everyday or you will dry you hair out and strip it of its natural oils.

  2. i don't mean to sound Rood bu maybe try washing it more often when i started going through puberty my hair changed condition it will just sort it self out but in the mean time by shampoo specialised for greasy or dry and damaged hair  hope i helped

  3. well i have the same issue sometimes but usually this happens to me when my hair at the ends is dead and needs to be trimmed. My sister has this problem too i just tell her when she showers only use the conditioner on the bottom half of her hair, and dont touch your hair alot because your hands hold alot of natural oils. i have heard you can use some baby powder on your hands rub it in a lil and apply it to your root area i believe that they have actually made some powder stuff for hair not sure of the cost though!

  4. my hair was like that for a while but then i started using herbal essences conditioner and my hair is much softer than before if it gets worse like dandruff or something get a special dandruff shampoo prescribed by your doctor because it really helps

  5. Only shampoo at the roots and only condition at the ends.

  6. do you condition your hair? if so try after washing, comb it through so no tangles if hair is long enough ,put it into a ponytail and use conditioner only on the area of hair in the ponytail that way you wont weigh down your roots and make them worse.if you don't condition your hair have a good look around for a shampoo for combination hair.don't over comb the roots when combing stay away from hot oil treatments.maybe your hair may need a trim if its breaking on a regular basis as you will never truly repair damaged hair.look at the ingredients in shampoos as well,l make sure they don't contain silicone in any shape or form as again to much stuff can make your hair suffer. do you eat greasy foods? as this can effect the roots as well. don't over use heat on the hair either if you can help it.hope some of this is of some use to you.

  7. shampoo everyday and use conditioner for the brittle half only.also avoid touching your hair during the day and excessive sun exposure because both of those things add grease and sweat to your roots.

  8. Solution to all hair issues:

I've used tips from that site a few times and some of the stuff does work really well!

  9. Use conditioner. It may not help the grease situation, but it will make the hair softer instead of brittle. I've never used a dry shampoo but apparently that's a quick fix to combat greasiness.

    Hope this helps! :)

  10. You can use a shampoo for oily hair and a conditioner for dry hair which you only apply to the ends. Go to the Body Shop and buy Nettle shampoo for oily hair and Honey moisturising conditioner for dry hair.

  11. well i would advise geting a super short cut, that way you can worry about one hair type or the other

don't worry, that's what i did and i love my short do, its way easier to take care of

also i recomend nioxin shampoo and conditioner...it really does a wonder for my hair =]
