Im having lazer gum surgery in two weeks and i was just wondering if its going to hurt really bad?

i have braces and my gums have been puffy and red ever since .im actually really scared of the dentist but i think im getting over it. but im afraid its goin to hurt bad. ive had ALOT of surgeries on my mouth but this is the one im really scared of! if anyone has had this before plz give me some feedback!!! serious answers plz. thanks.

well buffin of gums after orthodontic treatment is  very common findin........thers nthin to be feared of laser gum surgery or any dentist as dentist is  a proffesional n bein doin it for  years  so have  faith in ur dentist....... and as far as laser surgeries  are concerned they are less traumatic as theres  no surgical openings  done  and they are the  most conservative  approach and most advanced approach amongst the  surgeries....they have prooved as a boon not only to denstists but  for  patients  aswell as ther is  bloodless field or surgery. If u hav encountered the  conventional surgeries then definatly u wudnt  hav  asked such a  question!

As they were comparativly painful and bloody!

                                                                             So have faith in ur dentist and  go happily for it without any fear as ur gettin not only more advanced but a bloodless and painless procedure  done!

     But not to be  forgotten is  to practice and follow ur dentists post operative instructions and evrything will be just fine !
